Color: Very deep, it tells of the excellent quality of the grapes.
Perfume: Pervasive balsamic notes are accompanied by hints of ripe red fruit, in a perfect aromatic balance.
Taste: Silky and caressing, it fills the palate with pleasantly exiting sensations. The final is exemplary round
and elegant.
Wine Advocate
The estate's 2006 Collazzi is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot that spent 18 months in French oak. It is a beautiful wine that captures the essence of these international varieties while avoiding the excessive heaviness and oakiness so typical of the genre. Firm yet silky tannins frame blackberries, herbs, cedar, menthol and subtle French oak in this engaging, generous red. The Rosso is already fairly open at this stage, but has the potential to develop nicely over the coming years. It will be a fascinating wine to follow. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2020.

Gorgeous aromas of raspberry and blackberry follow through to a medium body, with fine tannins and a clean, fresh finish. Very refined. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best after 2010. 2,400 cases made.

Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
